About Dr. Stabile

Douglas E. Stabile, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified podiatrist at Lake Ridge and Stafford Foot & Ankle Centers with offices in Lake Ridge and Stafford, Virginia, where he is a partner of the practice. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Stabile has been caring for patients’ foot and ankle needs in private practice since 1987. He specializes in foot and ankle injuries, reconstructive foot surgery, diseases of the foot and ankle, and pediatric lower extremity orthopedics.

Dr. Stabile earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Millersville University in Pennsylvania, before attending the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia for his doctorate in podiatric medicine. He then served as chief resident at Lindell Hospital, now Kindred Hospital, in St. Louis before starting in private practice.

Committed to education and sharing his knowledge, Dr. Stabile is the attending physician and educator at the Inova® Fairfax Hospital Podiatric Residency Program in Northern Virginia, where he also serves as vice president of the foundation committee. Dr. Stabile is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
